Elva Marcinizyn  

Age 96 of Wilmington, DE passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016 in Palm Harbor, FL.

Elva (Babci) retired from A & P after 40 years of service. She loved spending time at her place in Avalon, traveling and being with her family. She was always ready to go and never let grass grow under her feet. She was a member of St. Hedwig Church and a member of the Holy Rosary Society.

Her husband of 62 ½ years, John Marcinizyn passed away in April of 2001. Elva is survived by her daughter, Joanne Cirillo of Wilmington, DE and her son, John Marcinizyn of Wilmington, DE; 6 grandsons; 4 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 11am, in St. Hedwig Church, Linden and S. Harrison Streets, Wilmington, DE. Burial will follow in the Cathedral Cemetery. Visitation for Elva will take place in St. Hedwig Church starting at 10 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to: Brookside Hospice House, 164 W. Lake Road, Palm Harbor, FL 34684.
