Susan A. (Zullitti) Prylucki

Susan A. Prylucki, daughter of the late Angelo and Ida Zullitti, passed away at home surrounded by her family, on Thursday, February 8, 2018.

Susan was a devoted teacher who loved her students and impacted the lives of many. She taught at St. Hedwig’s Elementary School and Ursuline Academy. She could often be seen waving her beloved Phillies rally towel in the car line. She was an avid reader, loved country music and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their sincerest thank you to Suzanne Hamerton as well as all of the Heartland Hospice staff, especially Melissa and Rebecca for their care and support for Susan.

Susan is survived by her husband of 38 years, Robert Prylucki of Newark, DE; her daughters, Lisa (Sian) Rohrbach of Wilmington, DE and Lauren (Mike) Fruscella of Middletown, DE; 4 grandchildren, Sophie, Gavin, Mikayla and Sadie; her brother, Angelo Zullitti and a sister, Anne Marie Cooke. Susan was preceded in death by her sons, David and Michael Prylucki.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am in St. Hedwig Church, Linden and S. Harrison Streets, Wilmington, DE on Thursday, February 15, 2018. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Ashland, DE. Visitation for Susan will take place in church starting at 9:30 am.
