Catherine H. Sakeley, age 96 of Wilmington, DE passed away at home on Thursday, September 14, 2017, surrounded by her family. Catherine was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1989.

She is survived by her sons, Jack Sakeley of Wilmington, DE and Mark Sakeley of Hockessin, DE; daughters, Judith Martelli of Newark, DE and Elaine Fitzgerald of Wilmington, DE; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 11am in St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington, DE 19808. Burial will follow in Cathedral Cemetery. Visitation for Catherine will be held, on Tuesday, at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808 starting at 9:30am.
