Jeannette G. Bennett, age 80 of Townsend, DE passed away at home, surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 6, 2018. She was a homemaker.

She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Bennett in 2002. She is survived by her daughters, Cathleen Spence of PA and Brenda Pegg of AL; her sons, Arthur Bennett III of Townsend, DE, Michael J. Bennett of Clayton, DE, Mark Bennett of Townsend, DE, Bruce Bennett of Camden, DE and Peter Bennett of Dover, DE; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Realey of Rehoboth Beach, DE.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 11 am at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19806. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 am. Burial will follow services in the Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.
