John C. M. (Johnny K) Kasowski, age 81, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017.

John worked for The News Journal Co. for 44 years as a mailer. He retired in 1995.

John was the husband of Barbara A. (Cieniewicz) Kiser-Kasowski, for 23 years; father of Annette, Victoria and Johnna; step-father of Brian & Richard Jr. Kiser; grandfather of Megan, Danielle, Amanda, Stephen, Nathanial and Relena; great grandfather of Brianna, Alexis, Addy and Sean and brother of Joseph Kasowski and Barbara Ann.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 10:30 am in St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington, DE 19808. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Visitation for John will be held on Monday evening, from 5-7pm, at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, #100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
