Cecelia  F.  Elliott

   Ceil passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 (also her Wedding Anniversary) at Compassionate Care Hospice at St Francis Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

  Ceil was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her greatest passion in life was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially celebrating their Birthdays! She also looked forward to dining out and visits to Delaware Park. Ceil really enjoyed playing the slots. After becoming more homebound, she truly appreciated frequent visits from her devoted neighborhood friends.

  Ceil was predeceased by her husband, John W. Elliott, Sr. and her parents, Joseph and Tessie Korup. Ceil is survived by her daughter, Kathy(Jack); her son, Jack(Valerie); her grandchildren, Jack, Mark, Colleen, Jason and Jennifer and 16 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Joseph (Florence) Korup and a host of nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her family.

   Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at 11 am in St. Hedwig Church, Linden and S. Harrison Sts. Visitation will be held in Church prior to Mass starting at 9:30 am. Burial will follow in the Cathedral Cemetery.
