Christine Oleksy

Age 85, of Wilmington, DE passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2015. She was the daughter of Jan and Jadwiga Szczepanowski.

Christine was a homemaker. She was known for her Polish pastries and thru sharing was her way of saying thank you.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis B. Oleksy in 1997, her daughter-in-law, Barbara Oleksy and her brother, Richard Szczepanowski.

She is survived by her son, Charles Oleksy of Wilmington, DE; her daughter, Kathleen (Stanley) Trzonkowski of Wilmington, DE; her 3 grandchildren, Justin, Kira and Andrew.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 10:30 am, in St. Hedwig Church, Linden and S. Harrison Streets, Wilmington, DE. Burial will follow in the Cathedral Cemetery. Visitation for Christine will be held in church starting at 9:30 am.
