David T. Sawczuk

David T. Sawczuk, age 62 of Wilmington, DE, son of the late Frank and Ceslava (Jaros) Sawczuk passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, July 19, 2018.

David was a boiler mechanic and worked for the University of Delaware. David loved crabbing, fishing and going to the casinos. He was a member of the Pulaski Legion.

David is survived by his 2 brothers, Francis Sawczuk, Jr of New Castle, DE and Joseph Sawczuk of Wilmington, DE; a sister, Marsha (Sam) Facciola of Bear, DE; 3 nieces, Stephanie (Andy), Reinice (Anthony) and Lori (David); a nephew, Francis (Melissa) and 6 great nieces and 2 great nephews and his adopted son, Brent Stewart, of Middletown, DE.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 11 am in St. Hedwig Church, Linden and S. Harrison Streets, Wilmington, DE. Burial will be private. The family will receive guests in St. Hedwig Church 1 hour prior to Mass.
