Douglas A. Gottschalk

Douglas A. Gottschalk, age 75, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018. Douglas was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology, was an avid tennis player and loved all things technical and mechanical. He worked for Scott Paper Co., ICI and retired from AstraZeneca.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Helen (Szabatura) Gottschalk, of Media, PA; a son, Andrew Gottschalk of Media, PA; a daughter, Christine (Deyan) Nenkov of Garner, NC and a grandson, Theodore Nenkov.

Divine Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 10 am in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Miller Road and Lea Blvd., Wilmington, DE. Visitation for Douglas will be held in Church starting at 9 am. Burial will follow in Yaphank Cemetery, Long Island, NY.
