Edward  A.  Soroka

Age 82, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2012. 

Edward was born in Wilmington, Delaware, the son of the late Walter John and Lillian Blanche (Wolska) Soroka, of Seaford, Delaware. He is survived by his wife, Irene (Weters) Soroka. 

Edward worked as an x-ray technician at Kent General Hospital. He was a Korean War Veteran and served as a reserve commissioned warrant officer in the US Army Reserve. He retired in 1986 as a civilian non-destructive tester from Dover Air Force Base, DE. He also worked for the Department of Transportation, State of Maryland as an occupational safety and health specialist. Edward and Irene moved to Royal Highlands in 1997, where he was a member of the Monarch Golf Club.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 10:30 am in St. Hedwig Church, Linden & S. Harrison Streets,Wilmington, Delaware. . Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington, Delaware.
