Ella May (Robinson) Sobieski

"Ellen"

Ella May Robinson was born at home on July 10, 1932 in Wilmington, DE. At age 80, she passed away comfortably and peacefully on Friday, April 12, 2013 at Compassionate Care Hospice in St. Francis Hospital.  She was the daughter of Helen Kozikowski and Norman Robinson, a former mayor of Elkton, Maryland.

Ellen married Joseph W. Sobieski, he preceded her in death in 1993.  She is survived by her stepdaughter, Linda Sobieski, and her grandson, Jason J. Sobieski of Wilmington, DE; and 2 great grandchildren, Devon and Destiny Lassiter of Massey, Maryland. 

After retiring from the DuPont Company, Ellen worked with the State Coroner and the Public Defender’s Office.  Ellen loved kids and crazy pets. One day she brought home a baby Kinkachoo and a Myna bird that learned to imitate everyone in the neighborhood.  She believed the best days of life are spent fishing.  I have to agree Elchie.
