Eugene Gurczenski

Age 82, of New Castle, Delaware passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015.

Eugene was a Navy Verteran. He worked for 23 years as a machinist in the Engineering Department for the DuPont Co.

He is survived by his wife of 48 yrs., Mary (Podsiad) Gurczenski; sons, Thomas (Deanna) Gurczewski of Newark, DE and Michael Gurczenski of New Castle, DE; a daughter, Dorothy Stutzman of New Castle, DE; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a brother, Walter Gurczenski of Millsboro, DE. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Josephine Gurczenski and by his brother, Adam Gurczenski, Jr. and a sister, Bernadette Hicks.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Hedwig Church, Linden and S. Harrison Streets, Wilmington, DE on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 12 noon. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Visitation for Eugene will be held in St. Hedwig Church, on Friday morning, starting at 10:30 am.
