Florence Hughto

 Age 85, of Delaware City, DE and formerly of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2012, surrounded by her husband and loving family.

Florence worked as a switchboard operator for the former Bell Telephone Company.  She enjoyed bowling, bingo and going to Delaware Park.

Florence is survived by her husband of 66 years, Frank Hughto; 2 sons, John (Vinnie) Hughto of Delaware City, DE and Frank (Nancy) Hughto of Hockessin, DE; a daughter, Mary (David) Niessen of Wilmington, DE.  She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and her brother; Stanley Markowski of Wilmington, DE. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Hedwig Church, Linden and So. Harrison Streets, Wilmington DE on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 10:30 am.  A viewing for Florence will be in church prior to Mass from 9:30 am to 10:20 am.  Burial will follow in cathedral Cemetery.
