Francis “Augie” Augustynowicz

Age 90, of Wilmington, DE passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015.

Augie was a master carpenter and cabinet maker. He was an employee and friend to everyone at Giorgi Kitchens. He was a WWII veteran who served in the Marine Corp and fought in the Pacific Theatre.

His wife, Angeline Augustynowicz passed in 1991. He is survived by nieces and nephews and many friends too numerous to mention.

The family would like to thank the staff at Kentmere for their wonderful care given to Augie.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 am, on Saturday, March 14, 2015 in St. Hedwig Church, Linden and S. Harrison Streets, Wilmington, DE. Visitation for Augie will be held in church starting at 9:30am. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to the Ministry of Caring, 119 N. Jackson Street, Wilmington, DE 19805.
