Helen   F. Sklodowski

age 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 15, 2013.

A graduate of Wilmington High School, class of 1942, she was employed by the NVF Co. and the Medical Center of Delaware, from which she retired in 1986.

She was predeceased by her husband, Leon, in 1967. She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Leona; her son, Richard, and his wife, Karen; her precious grandchildren, Rick, Krista, Kim and Kari and great grandson, Shane; and her sisters, Tress Sklodowski and Dolores Sultzer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, January 19, 2013 in St. Hedwig Church, Linden & S. Harrison Streets at 10:30 am with visitation in church starting at 9:30 am. Burial will follow in the Cathedral Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the caregivers of Compassionate Care Hospice for their kindness and comfort.
