Henry B. Konopka

  Age 85 of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away at home, on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. Henry was a correction officer for the State of Delaware, rising to the rank of Lieutenant. He retired in 1988 after 25 years of service.

  Henry's wife Barbara (Wilkinson) passed away in June of 2009. Henry is survived by his daughters, Marlene Weakland of Wilmington, DE and Doreen (Clifton) McNatt of Wilmington, DE; grandchildren, Lisa, Michele and Alfred, Jr., 6 great grandchildren; a brother and a sister. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 10:30 am at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808. Visitation for Henry will begin at 9:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.
