Irene Janusz

Age 85, formerly of Winston-Salem, NC and Wilmington, DE passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2013 in the Christiana Hospital.
Irene was a homemaker. When she lived in NC, she was a member of the Merry Mixers Womens Club. She loved to play bridge and bingo and go to Delaware Park. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband.
She is survived by her sister, Judith Holmes and her husband Charles of Newark, DE, several nieces and nephews, and great neices and nephews.  Her husband, John Z. Janusz, passed away in 1998.  She was also predeceased by her brother, Stanley Pienkos and her sisters, Sophia Suchta and Helen Schmidt.
A Mass of CHristian Burial will be offered in St. Hedwig Church, Linden and S. Harrison Streets, Wilmington, DE on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 10:30 am. Viewing for Irene will be held in church starting at 9:30 am. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.
