Jean M. Evick

Of Wilmington, Delaware, beloved wife of Charles (Ted) went home to be with the Lord, her mother, father and grandmother on Thursday, May 2, 2013.  

She enjoyed playing bingo and card games with her family and friends, especially her great grandchildren. She was an avid Delaware Park patron who loved to play the slots and sit with her husband watching the horse races. Her husband, daughter and grandchildren meant the world to her.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen Zeszut and her brother, John Zeszut, Jr..  Jean is survived by her loving husband of 55 yrs., Charles (Ted); her daughter, Donna and husband, Nick; a granddaughter, Tiffany and husband, Richard; a grandson, Nicholas, Jr. and his girlfriend, Alyse; 2  great grandchildren, Blake and Emmalea; and her sister, Helen Pearlman and beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE, on Thursday morning, May 9, 2 013 at 11 am. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation for Jean will be held on Wednesday evening, May 8^th,  from 6-8 pm at the John F. Yasik Funeral Home, 607 S. Harrison St., Wilmington, DE.
