Jean N. Willis

Age 93, of Hockessin, DE passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016. Jean was a hostess at Acme for many years. She retired in 1968. Jean served in WWII and attained the rank of Corporal in the Women’s Army Air Corp. She was a member of St. Hedwig Holy Rosary Sodality and the American Post #14, in Smyrna, DE.

She is survived by her son, Walter (Joan) W. Willis of Kamiah, ID, daughters; Linda J. Fulton of Hockessin, DE and Susan W. (Leo) Pizzini of West Grove, PA, grandchildren; James, Thomas, Leone II, Alex and Peggy, great grandchildren; Paige, Dylan, Jada, Orion, Tullia, Brendan and Ava and a brother, Thomas (Dolores) Kolakowski of Clayton, DE. She is preceded in death by her sisters; Sophie W. Suchocki, Irene Leszczynski, Tessie Glowiak and Helen Abramowicz and a brother, Theodore Kolakowski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 12 noon in St. Hedwig Church, Linden and S. Harrison Streets, Wilmington, DE. Visitation for Jean will be held in church starting at 11am. Burial will follow at a later date.
