Jennie H. Pastalenic

     Age 87, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at her home at Churchman Village Nursing Home.

     Jennie was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Pastalenic and her daughter, Mary Ann Atchley. 

     Jennie was a wife and homemaker.  She enjoyed playing bingo and taking care of her family and many pets over the years.  She had made a second family at Churchman Village Nursing Home over the last six years of her life and she considered that her second home. 

     She is survived by her grandson, David Atchley of Arkansas, her nephews; Edward Sawicki and his wife Sherry of New Castle, DE, and Frank Sawicki and his wife Katie and their children, Ila and Andrew of Cambridge, MD.

     There will be a celebration of Jennie’s life at 3:30 pm on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Churchman Village Nursing Home, 4949 Ogletown Stanton Road, Newark, DE 19713.
