Jerome E. Bonk

Age 85, of Wilmington, Delaware  passed away peacefully in the Hillside Care Center surrounded by his family on Thursday, May 23, 2013.

 Jerome was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church and the Knights of Columbus.  He had previously been employed by Holiday Travel and the Music School of Delaware.  He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Bonk and his mother, Mary Lewicka Bonk and his sister, Elizabeth Bonk Dorsey. He is survived his brother, Casimir Bonk and his wife, Emily and numerous nieces & nephews.  

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Hedwig Church, Linden and S. Harrison Streets,  Wilmington, DE on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in the Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.  Visitation for Jerome will be held in St. Hedwig Church on Thursday morning starting at 9:30 am.

 In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: St. Hedwig Church, 408 S. Harrison Street, Wilmington, DE 19805 or to: St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 301 N. Bancroft Parkway,  Wilmington, DE 19805.
