John J. Marcinizyn

John J. “Jack” Marcinizyn, 78, of Newark, Delaware passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023.  Born in Wilmington on May 28, 1944, he was the son of the late John and Elva (Sloniewska) Marcinizyn.

Jack was a graduate of Salesianum School, a life-long member of St. Hedwig Parish, and a State of Delaware employee. 

He is survived by his three sons, Joshua, Eric, and John II; his grandson, Levi; his sister, Joanne Cirillo.

Family and friends are invited to visit at St. Hedwig Church, 408 S. Harrison Street, Wilmington on Wednesday, February 15 from 9:30 – 10:15AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM, immediately followed by interment in Cathedral Cemetery.
