Lenny Lewandowski

“Mud Turtle”

     age 60, of Wilmington, DE, son of Hedwig and the late Frank Lewandowski, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2012 at home.

      Lenny worked for General Motors for 25 yrs. in the maintenance department and as a pipe fitter.  He was a member of the UAW, Local 435 and the pipe fitters, Local 74.  He loved to crab and fish and was a deer hunter.   He also was an avid Phillies & Eagles fan.

     Lenny is survived by his wife of 35 yrs.,  Linda (Davis) Lewandowski, brothers; Frank of Wilmington, DE and Jimmy and Bobby, both of New Castle, DE, sisters; Chris Osaba of New Castle, DE, Ann Mikulchk of Newark, DE and Cindy Turner and Elaine Lewandowski, both of Wilmington, DE, a godson, Frank Lewandowski, Jr., and goddaughters; Tori Walls & Veronica Lewandowski.

     Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 8,2012 at the John F. Yasik Funeral Home, 607 S. Harrison St., Wilmington, De  at  11 am.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home starting at 9 am.  Burial will follow in Cathedral Cemetery.

     In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in his name to: Delaware Division of Fish & Wildlife, 89 Kings Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
