Linda  S. Lewandowski

(nee Davis)

Age 63, of Wilmington, DE, passed away at home on Friday, October 12, 2012, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born in South Carolina to the late Marshall W. and Mary Davis.

 Linda was preceded in death by her daughter; Lynda Lewandowski and her husband of 34 yrs., Leonard Lewandowski.

 She is survived by her brothers; Marshall Davis Jr. of New Castle, DE and Jay Fout (Diane) of Denver, CO, sisters; Patricia Pytko of Townsend, DE, Sue Goldberg of Lowtan, OK and Joan Pringle of Mesa AR. She is also survived by many more close family and friends.

 Over the years, she worked for Johnny’s Supermarket, Cokesbury, Greenhill Smoke Shop and Stonegates where she had made many lasting friendships. She enjoyed karaoke, crabbing, Yahtzee, Wheel of Fortune and collecting dolls.

 Committal Services will be held on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 11 am in the Chapel at the Cathedral Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday morning at the John F. Yasik Funeral Home, 607 S. Harrison Street, Wilmington, DE from 9:00-10:30 am.  Entombment will follow in the Crypt of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Cathedral Cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in her name to: Delaware Hospice, Inc., 3515 Silverside Rd., Wlmington, DE 19810 or to Helen Graham Center, 4701 Ogleltown-Stanton Rd., Newark, DE 19713.
