Lucille E. Brooks

                         “Mom Mom Lucy”

Age 79. of Wilmington, DE passed away on Friday, August 23. 2013 in the Hospice House, West Chester, PA.

Lucille was a mentor to children most of her life. She was predeceased by her husband, Dean T. Brooks; her parents, Stanley and Mary Rydel, her brothers, Stanley, Mike(Michael) , Steven and Benjamin Rydel and her great grandson, Jakwaugn Wilson. She is survived by her daughter, Yvonne(Bonnie) Bowers and her husband, Nelson; her sons, Robert Brooks and his wife, Susan and Dean Brooks and his wife, Karen; grandchildren, Tammy Wilson and her husband, Wayne Sr, Jeremy Husfelt and his wife Shannan, Taylor Brooks, Kelsey Brooks, Brittney Cheseroni, Alex Cheseroni and Christopher Wilson; great grandchildren, Kwaynecia Wilson, Jeremy Husfelt Jr., Nathan Husfelt, Joey Husfelt, Wayne Wilson Jr, Sanietra Harden, Waynetta Wilson, Cole Wilson, Zachary Wilson and Gianni Wilson; great great grandchildren, Jy’aire Wilson, J’airer Wilson, J’amier Wilson, Jordan Wilson, Brandon Wilson and Saniya Bey; brother, Frank Rydle;  cousins, Michelle Meadow, Eleanor Markland, Rosalyn, and Cathy (Kitty) Zaczkowski and a host of other family & friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon, August 28, 2013 at 1:30 pm at the John F. Yasik Funeral Home, 607 S. Harrison St., Wlmington, DE 19805. Burial will follow in Gracelawn Cemetery, New Castle, DE. Visitation for Lucille will at the John F. Yasik Funeral Home, 607 S. Harrison St., Wilmington, DE 19805 starting at 12 noon.
