Lucy Matwey

Age 90, of Wilmington, DE passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015. Lucy was a homemaker and formerly worked in her early years at the Pennsylvania Railroad and at Devon Apartments. She liked to spend time in the garden tending to her flowers and vegetables.

Her husband, Michael Matwey of 55 years passed away in 2006. She is survived by a daughter, Michele (Paul) Kaufmann of Drexel Hill, PA; grandchildren, Andrew and Barbara and a brother, Edmund Cruciano of Claymont, DE. Besides being predeceased by her husband, she is also predeceased by her brothers, Albert and Pat.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 11 am in St. Elizabeth Church, Cedar and S. Clayton Streets, Wilmington, DE. Burial will follow in the Cathedral Cemetery. Visitation for Lucy will be held in St. Elizabeth Church on Tuesday morning starting at 10am.
