Margaret A. (Sparks) Gorak

Margaret A. Gorak, age 82, of Wilmington, passed away on January 7, 2019. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her son, Stanley (Kim) Gorak, Jr; daughters, Danette Bunnell, Catherine (Matthew) Platt; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Ciabattoni and Barbara (Joseph) Kipp. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Gorak Sr. in 2011 and by her daughter, Sally Ann Gorak and a great granddaughter, Danielle Conner.

Funeral services will be held at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE at 12 noon on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. Visitation for Margaret will begin at 10 am. Burial will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests, memorial contributions, be made in her name to St. Elizabeth School Scholarship Fund, 1500 Cedar Street, Wilmington, DE 19805.
