Margaret M. (Yasik) Hirnyck

Margaret M. (Yasik) Hirnyck passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at the age of 99.  Born in Wilmington, Delaware on October 11, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Stanley J. and Margaret (Findley) Yasik.

Margaret resided in Wilmington for the vast majority of her life, was a loving and devoted homemaker, as well as a past member of St. John the Beloved Parish.  She relocated to Boise, Idaho five years ago to live with her son, Bob and his wife, Ronda and was most recently a resident of Willow Park Assisted Living in Boise.

Her husband of 68 years, William T. Hirnyck, passed away on July 22, 2011 and her son, Thomas J. Hirnyck, passed away on February 17, 2021.

Margaret is survived by her son, Robert Hirnyck (Ronda); her granddaughters, Anna Caldwell, Ruth Crockett and Sarah Hirnyck.

She was predeceased by her brother, Stanley Yasik; her sisters, Elizabeth Seningen and Barbara Buckwalter.

Family and friends are invited to visit at St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington on Tuesday, August 10 from 10:00-10:45AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM, followed by interment in All Saints Cemetery.
