Melissa Renee LeVan Carlton

     Age 26, of Newark, DE, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2013 in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA.

     Melissa was born on March 31, 1986, the daughter of Martin and Sharon Carlton, of New Castle, DE.  She worked as a veterinarian technician. 

     In addition to her parents, Melissa is survived by her soul mate, Collin LeVan, of Newark, DE; her sister, Jessica Willis, of New Castle, DE; her paternal grandparents, Walter and Helen Carlton, of Camden-Wyoming, DE; her 2 nieces, Alexis and Haley Willis; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

     Visitation will be held at the John F. Yasik Funeral Home, 607 S. Harrison Street on Thursday evening, January 31, 2013 from 6 – 8 pm and again on Friday morning, Feb 1^st, from 10 – 11 am in the Gracelawn Cemetery Chapel, DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.   Services will be held in the Chapel at 11 am. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
