Mieczyslaw Baginski

  Mieczyslaw Baginski, age 87, of Wilmington, DE passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014 in the Christiana Hospital. Mieczyslaw was a steel worker and he retired in 1991.

  He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Janina (Wojciechhowska) Baginski; a son, Anthony Baginski; a daughter, Bozena Harper and her husband William; 2 grandchildren, Benjamin and Margaret Harper; a sister, Wanda Filipkowska ; sister-in-law, Helen Baginski; nieces, Teresa Michener and husband Jeff, Helen Halsey and husband, Richard, Gracie Skosmo and husband, Scott and Elizabeth Baginski and several great nieces & nephews.

  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 11 am at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808. Visitation for Mieczyslaw will be held at the funeral home from 9:30-11 am. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.

  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to St. Hedwig Church, 408 S. Harrison Street, Wilmington, DE 19805.
