Randolph F. Valentine

   Age 82 of Wilmington, DE passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2014.

  Randolph retired in 1985 as a security guard at Widner University. He also was an Army veteran of the Korean War and served in the Air Force in the Vietnam War.

  He was predeceased by his wife, Geraldine in 1999. He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth (Guy Brown) Valentine Knight of Wilmington, DE, Margaret Riddle-Hobbs of Wilmington, DE; a son, William J. (Donna) Valentine of Hockessin, DE; and another daughter Paula J. (Michael) Valentine Vest of Marietta, GA; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and his sisters, Shirley Oulette of CT. and Caroline Mullen of MI. Randolph was also predeceased by his brother, Alford Valentine.

  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 11:30 am at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808. Visitation for Randolph will be held at the funeral home starting at 10 am. Burial will follow services with military honors at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
