Regina Dudziec, age 93, of New Castle, DE, passed away on March 17th, 2025 at AccentCare Hospice in Wilmington Hospital on March 17, 2025. Regina began her career at Morgan Millwork and Quigley Mortgage Service. She retired in 1989 after more than 30 years at Hercules Incorporated, serving as Office Manager in both the Law Department and Human Resources Department. She was a member of the Hercules Women’s Club and served on its Art Committee for a number of years. She had a special interest in art and did oil painting.
Regina was active for a number of years in the Democratic Party as a committee person from her district. She was also campaign and financial manager to State Senator Robert I. Marshall.
She was appointed by Governor Castle to the Tax Appeals Board of the State of Delaware in June of 1985 and served until 2012.
In addition to oil painting, her hobbies included gardening, stitching and crafting. She was an avid reader.
Regina was a devoted and loving aunt to her nieces and nephews, and is survived by Dorothy Ciszkowski, Patricia Leary, Valerie Elliott and John Dudziec. She is also survived by many great nieces and great nephews; a beloved cousin, Kathy Minutella. She was predeceased by her parents, Waleria and John Dudziec; sisters, Mary Basara Jedrzejewski and Helen Marchlewicz; brother, Stanley Dudziec; and dearest friend, Connie Mann; nephews, Robert Marshall and Ronald Basara, Sr.; and great nephews, Ronny Basara, Jr. and Gary Ciszkowski.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, March 27th, 2025 from 10AM-11AM at St. Hedwig Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM. Interment to follow in Cathedral Cemetery.
