Rose  C.  Noonan

age 97, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012 in the Kentmere Care Center.

Rose was a homemaker. She is survived by her sons; John Noonan of New Castle, DE and Richard (Diana) Noonan of Newark, DE, a daughter; Jacqueline (Chris) Steinebach of Fairport, NY, 5 grandchildren & 2 step-grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 step-great grandchildren. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, John (Beans) Noonan in 1980 and she was predeceased by her sisters; Agnes Drodz and Elizabeth Hickey. The family would like to thank the staff of Kentmere for the wonderful care they provided for Rose.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 4^th & Bancroft Prky., on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 10 am. The family will be in church to greet friends starting at 9:30 am. Burial will follow in Cathedral Cemetery.
