Ruth K. Edwards

 Age 89, of Newark, DE passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2013 in the Christiana Hospital with her family by her side. She was a secretary at the DuPont Experimental Station Site before retiring in 1982. Ruth was predeceased by her husband,Ralph in 2003.

She is survived by her son; Kenneth R. Edwards (fiancé, Wanda) of Newark, DE; daughter, Linda (Tom) Bogush of Bear, DE and Joan (Houston)Corkran of Nazareth, PA; 7 grandchildren, Tom, Jennifer, Karen, Corey, Brett, Tyler and Christine; 4 great grandchildren, Ela, Landon, Brynn and Alex; brothers, Mark Kuehn and Richard Kuehn and sisters, Dorthea Blacker,Carly Schaser and Libby Brady.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday evening, December 19, 2013 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 10 Johnson Road, Newark, DE. at 7:30 pm. Visitation for Ruth will be on Thursday evening in the church from 6-7:30 pm. Internment services will follow on Friday, December 20th at 11 am in the Chapel of the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to The Tom  Bogush Foundation benefiting The National Brain Tumor Society. (www.tombogush.org)
