Thomas E. Myers

Thomas E. Myers, age 68, son of the late Edward and Frances (Anderson) Myers, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, in Margate, NJ, doing what he loved.

Thomas was a Master Carpenter, owner/operator of the Thomas E. Myers Construction Co. He is gone but his distinguished work nationwide will be around for many years to come. His life was complete; accomplishing more than most, all by himself. His hobbies included cars, boats, trains, planes, history, carpentry, and traveling. Tom was always dressed to a T, even when working he wore khakis year round. He was organized, always punctual and rarely wrong.

Tom is survived by his loving son, who was his world, Francis T. Myers of Wilmington, DE. Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Carol A. (Yasik) Myers in 2003.

Visitation for Tom will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 3 – 5 pm at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808.

A Funeral Liturgy Service will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 11 am in St. Monica Church, 2422 S. 17th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19145. The family will greet friends in church 1 hour prior to Services. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington, DE 19808.
