Thomas P. Tabo

Age 71, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2015, under the loving care of Seasons Hospice.

Tom was predeceased by his father, John J. Tabo, his mother, Cecilia Manelski Tabo and by his sister, Mary Dolores Ryfa McCormick.

He is survived by his two sisters, Josephine Bloch and Jennie Pajerowski, both of Wilmington, DE and two brothers, Stanley (Leslie) Tabo of Wilmington, DE and Joseph (Mary Lou) Tabo of Elkton, MD. He leaves two aunts, Wanda Crossan and Margaret Persoleo, both of Wilmington, DE and 13 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

Tom attended and was a graduate of St. Hedwig School and Brown Vocational. He served in the Navy. Upon his discharge, he became employed by the US Postal Services, from which he retired after 32 years of service. He will be lovingly missed by his family and cherished in all memories.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Matthew Church, Woodcrest, at 10:30 am on Monday, April 6, 2015. At Thomas’ request, there will be no viewing. Burial will follow in the Cathedral Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to St. Matthew Church, 1013 E. Newport Pike, Wilmington, DE 19804 or to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, #205, New Castle, DE 19720.
