Thomas E. Zdrojewski, 82, of Summerville, South Carolina, formerly of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022. Born in Wilmington on August 20, 1940, he was the son of the late Thomas M. and Mary (Boleslawski) Zdrojewski.
Thomas was a graduate of Conrad High School, where he participated in the band as a trumpet player. A passionate music lover, he possessed a wide taste in styles and artists and loved to DJ on the side. Thomas was also a car enthusiast who enjoyed Nascar, drag races, and his prized vintage Camaro. Thomas had a great sense of humor, and he also had his own ideas and ways of doing things without wavering. He was employed as a salesman with Giles & Ransome (Caterpillar) in the Mid-Atlantic before relocating to South Carolina, where he worked at Home Depot.
Thomas is survived by his daughters, Brooke Bollinger and husband, Patrick, Maryann Lehman and husband, Greg; and three grandchildren. In addition, he is survived by his wife, Joyce (Bergeron) Zdrojewski and her family.
A visitation will be held at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Wednesday, November 23 from 10:00 – 11:00AM, with a Catholic funeral service immediately following. At his request, the interment in All Saints Cemetery will be held privately.
