Wayne  Lambert

Age 70, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at home.

Wayne was a steel fitter. He retired in 2008. He is survived by his wife, Sally (Smith) Lambert; sons, Gilbert Edge and Francis Lambert both of Wilmington, DE, Daniel Lambert of Mississippi;  a daughter, Sally Lindell of Newark, DE; 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Gene Lambert of Selbyville, DE and Richard Lambert of Smyrna, DE; sisters,  Linda Johnson of Oxford, Pa and Rebecca Oakes of Florida. He was predeceased by his brothers. Preston Lambert, Jr. and Jerry Lambert and a sister; June Hayfer.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the John F. Yasik Funeral Home, 607 S. Harrison Street, Wilmington, DE at 11 am. Burial will be private. Visitation for Wayne will be held on Saturday morning, at the funeral home, starting at 10 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Seasons Hospice, 220 Continental Drive, Suite 101, Newark, DE 19713.
