Wolodymyr  Sobkiw

Age 88, of Carneys Point, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at home.

Wolodymyr was retired and was a tavern owner. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Julia (Szemegda) Sobkiw . Also surviving are his sons; Orest Sobkiw and his wife, Linda, Bohdan Sobkiw and his wife, Dorothy and Walter Sobkiw and his wife, Claudia, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.                                                      

Divine Liturgy will be offered on Thursday, September 12, 1013 in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Miller and Lea Blvd, Wilmington, DE. at 11 am. Burial will follow in Cathedral Cemetery. Visitation for Wolodymyr will be held in Church starting at 10 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 801 Lea Blvd., Wilmington, DE 19803 or to the Ukrainian Seminary, c/o the Church.
