My father and I worked with John at the Journal. I was a young father, working 2 jobs and he was always there to help whenever I asked. His photo here truly shows how I remember him. Such a wonderful man, so sorry to hear that he passed. My condolences to Brian, Jackie and all of John's family. He lived a great life and will be missed.

I worked with John at the Journal back in the 80's when I was a young father working 2 jobs. You could always turn to him if you had a question. Nothing was ever a problem. I only knew him from work and can only imagine what he was like away from the shop. The photo you chose is how I remember him. My condolences to Brian, Jackie and all of John's family. John was a wonderful man.

We worked with "Johnny K" for years at the News Journal. We retired in 2007 from the I.T. department. John was a great guy - always good to work with PLUS he was an all around nice person. Sorry to hear of his passing. We will pray for him.
